Following the latest meeting of the T.I.M.E. Advisory Committee hosted by Riga Technical University, we are pleased to announce significant progress in expanding our network and collaborations. Here’s a brief overview of what’s happening and what to look forward to:
- Geographic Expansion: Our efforts to broaden the T.I.M.E. network by including additional countries and regions are in full swing. This initiative aims to enrich our community’s diversity and global representation. Keep an eye out for the forthcoming Call!
- Scholarship Program: We have thrilling news for T.I.M.E. Double Degree students! Thanks to support from L’Oréal, we are in the process of launching a new scholarship program. This initiative is designed to support students in achieving their Double Degrees without the worry of financial barriers.
- Call for Projects: From 23 submissions, we have selected five projects for further development. These initiatives are poised to bolster collaboration among members, ranging from faculty to international relations, and to provide benefits for students. This reflects our dedication to fostering a more dynamic and interconnected community.
- T.I.M.E. Association Alumni Network: Our efforts to enhance connections between students and Double Degree alumni on LinkedIn are ramping up. With over 1500 members, our LinkedIn group serves as an excellent platform for sharing opportunities and staying in touch with the T.I.M.E. community. We are also exploring more event organization to engage our alumni further and promote study abroad opportunities, including the upcoming T.I.M.E. Association Virtual Fair.
- T.I.M.E. General Assembly in Polytechnique Montréal, Canada: Mark your calendars for 16-18 October, with a study fair following on 21 October.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Riga Technical University for their gracious hosting, and a warm welcome to our newest Advisory Committee member, introduced during last October’s General Assembly (GA 2023) at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
