We are excited to share mindSET’s European Core Curriculum in Transferable Skills for SET Disciplines with everybody who is interested and involved in doctoral education of science, engineering and technology (SET) Phd candidates in Europe! This could be Technical European universities (TUs) that are interested in implementing such a curriculum, SET PhD candidates who are invited to participate in pilot test trainings or other international stakeholders, such as professional and employers´ organisations and umbrella institutions of science and research.

Since October 2018, Technische Universität Berlin (TUB) and its consortial partners, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Politecnico di Milano and Warsaw University of Technology, have formed a strong collaboration to develop a European Core Curriculum in Transferable Skills for PhD candidates in Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) disciplines and training material for the respective modules. The curriculum will be implemented and tested in joint workshops with participants and trainers from each university.
Please visit mindSET´s website for further information, news and resources: http://www.mindset-project.eu/.
The joint development of a European core curriculum in transferable skills is strengthening the partners’ understanding of the structures and framework conditions of doctoral training. The joint courses offer doctoral students the opportunity of international and interdisciplinary networking and the chance to make targeted contact with researchers at the host university. Thus, mindSET contributes to the internationalisation of the training of young scientists at the participating partner universities. The network partners T.I.M.E.-Association and CESAER support the dissemination of the curriculum and the instruments at other universities, making a sustainable contribution to the Europeanisation of doctoral training
