T.I.M.E. Association recently had the distinct pleasure of visiting colleagues at Escola Politécnica da USP, one of the most active members of the T.I.M.E. network in Brazil. During the visit, the Association engaged with Marcelo Alves and Marcio Lobo Netto, both pivotal to the institution’s success and ongoing contributions to the T.I.M.E. network.
A highlight of the visit was interviewing several double degree students who are not only excelling academically but also embodying the spirit of cross-cultural education. The Association spoke with Pablo Laviolette, a student from Université catholique de Louvain, and Lucas Souza Vieira, who is collaborating with Centrale Nantes. Additionally, conversations were held with Lorena Hernandes da Silva Leme, currently engaged with ENSTA Paris, and Gabrielle Allana Fernandes de Souza, whom T.I.M.E. Association looks forward to speaking with again soon. These students are a true inspiration, demonstrating the rich potential of international academic programs.
Furthermore, T.I.M.E. Association had the privilege of visiting Universidade Estadual de Campinas for the first time, where a warm welcome was received from Leonardo Tomazeli Duarte. His dedication and involvement in fostering educational opportunities are commendable.
