A key moment for DD Student-Industry Connections
As part of the Groupe Ecoles Centrales Nordic trip, we had the pleasure of having the T.I.M.E. Job Speed Dating event in Stockholm, an event that marked a significant step in strengthening connections between T.I.M.E. Double degree students and industry partners.
This innovative event, held at the magnificent Résidence de France, brought together students from 14 T.I.M.E. partner institutions, including the five Écoles Centrales, as well as leading companies based in Sweden. The students, who are in the final stages of their MSc programs, had the opportunity to engage in a dynamic “speed-dating” format with industry professionals, enabling them to explore internship opportunities, early career roles, and build valuable industry contacts.

The event also featured the participation of L’Oréal, one of our esteemed corporate partners, alongside other major companies such as ABB, Schneider Electric, Volvo Group, Dassault Systèmes, and Alstom. This growing interest from industry partners in recruiting international Double Degree engineering talent highlights the increasing recognition of the high caliber of students within the T.I.M.E. network.
For the T.I.M.E. Association, which unites 57 leading technical universities and engineering schools across 25 countries, this event was an important milestone in our continued effort to create meaningful and impactful opportunities for students to connect with the industry. It underscores the relevance of our Double Degree programs and the strong demand for highly skilled engineers on the global stage.
We are constantly seeking to expand our network and collaborate with companies eager to engage with talented engineering students. If your company is interested in exploring recruitment opportunities or partnership possibilities, please reach out to us at secretary.general@timeassociation.org.
A special thank you to Simon Davies‘ leadership together with Torkel Werge, Manja Schubert the Institut français de Suède and the French Embassy in Sweden for hosting us, and to Yan Pautrat, Attaché de Coopération Scientifique et Universitaire, for his invaluable assistance in organizing this successful event. We were also honored to meet His Excellency Thierry Carlier, the new French Ambassador to Sweden, who graced us with his presence.
More events are under way in Milano (May 27) and Madrid (June 17, 2025)
